As a matter of course, I think it is fair to say that I absolutely adore the Tantus line of awesomesauce silicone dildos. So when I saw that the Tantus Acute was available for review at Fun Wares, I immediately jumped on that bandwagon. I loved the way that it looked. It is so pretty. And purple.
This is one of several toys that I have used on submissives, but I got to use it first, unlike the Tantus O2 Cush. I liked that it was slim and smooth, easily insertable in my vagina. After several days of straight up fucking, I was able to use this to bring my out-of-control-with-satiation vagina under control and back to earth, or whatever the fuck that means, with a nice slow session with this dildo.
I enjoyed the fact that the Acute isn’t girthy. Like I said, it is slim. At 1.25″ diameter and 5″ length, it is not a giant beast. It’s a sweet, smallish dildo that has the angle to make it a beast. It’s all in the angle, guys. Seriously. However, the Acute also happens to be somewhat pliable, so the shaft does tend to bend and move in a different direction than I want it to, when I use it solo. However, I found this particular dildo to be ergodynamic as I didn’t have to bend my wrist in awkward and uncomfortable angles, while holding the base, to get it to hit the spots I wanted it to hit in my vagina. I heart that.
Now, on to what the submissive felt. He said he could really feel the angle on the Acute and we actually had to work together to figure out the exact angle that was best for him. It was pretty fun to twirl it around in his butt like a manual drill. We eventually found that angle and it was downward, so that the end of the shaft was actually stimulating his prostate. No, I did not let him come. And he was pretty vocal when I finally got it to the correct angle. Super vocal. He seemed to prefer a steady medium-mild thrust as opposed to fast thrusting because it was overwhelming for him. It felt like too much too fast. He did like a bit of a faster thrust when I was doing shallow dipping with the Acute.
I have to say, my most favorite thing about toys with a base is the fact that when I am inserting it into my submissives’ butts, I don’t have to grip the base. Instead, I can just push it with my palm. Again, with ergodynamic love.
It should be noted that I was able to fully insert the Acute into a regular, non-lubricated condom. It fit entirely and I was able to tie it so I didn’t have to worry about the condom falling off. Trust me, this is a good thing when you get lost in the fun of playing with an anal submissive’s butt. It was also good for me, because I decided to share some of my toys so ensuring that they are protected against others is always the way to go. I don’t always know the status of others so I treat my sex toys like I treat myself: as safe and protected as possible. Even though silicone is a non-porous material and that Tantus silicone is 100% medical grade, I’ll always still cover them, my playmates and myself.
Since this is a silicone dildo, it can be boiled, cleaned with warm water and soap or a bleach solution, and can also be set through a cycle in the dishwasher. I love dishwasherable toys, because they can all be cleaned at once. The efficiency of it all!
